stepping out

Not surprisingly, we don't leave the house much with the kids.  It's great to get out with them, but when we get home we almost always say, we're never doing that again!  ...until the dust settles and the next event comes up that we just can't miss.
We took the babies on their 2nd restaurant experience, Beavers, to celebrate our dear friends Billy and Cara's wedding.  It was so great to be with friends outside of our house!

We also made it out for the 4th

when 'D' (grandpa Billy) said he was making gumbo, 

we headed over for his best batch yet.
